I sat in a home meeting once with my upline, Direct, Ruby and even my Diamond. The Ruby simply stated he did not make any money. If a Ruby level doesn’t make money…what chance would I have?

cojute06 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

I liked the people witch whom I associated and the products. The problem was that I couldn’t give the brochures or products away. My ‘discounted’ price was more than what a store’s price would be. I love Double X vitamins but….that kind of money (even at distributor’s price) for vitamins is pretty pricey. I began saving the money I spent on products, events and tapes….then went to Disneyland.

FieryBalrog | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

Prove your best friend made $500/mth. Anyone can claim anything and Amway drones never check their figures. Distributors are told income at Emerald is 100K. Its actually 30K. Income at Ruby is supposed to be 50K. Its 20K, as reported by former Rubies and Emeralds themselves who left out of disgust that they weren’t making what they were told at that level.

Avg. earning per IBO is $115 GROSS. Thats BEFORE expenses, before CDs, books, standing order tape, etc. What a scam.

queenwinterkat | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

a tube of toothpaste @ amway is $7. ridiculous. i only asked because i was being nice because the poor amway rep. was practically BEGGING me to join. i’m not getting saddle w/ anything just to make anyone else rich. i mean who would be dumb enough to spend that kind of dough on a “deal”? please.

woo394 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

what is this video suppose to prove???????that amway is a fake?
have u ever tried to be an IBO. if you didn’t then you don’t know what you are talking about, you should get sued because i don’t think u know what u are talking about.

wingoman1 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

AsAmIaM84 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

same here, just gotta have faith.

WhatsAYak | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

Maybe the kind of friends who are looking out for you and don’t want you to be associated w/something that will cause more harm than good in the long run…same w/family, who knows you better, people that have been a part of your life for years, or some clown you met in the aisle of your local B&N? And the idea that you can do it in your spare time is laughable…what about the late night meetings, functions, etc. that stretch well past any free time you might have?

terker10 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

they don’t actually, just everyone I associate with or meet in the gym. by the way, i got your message about taxes, I don’t like to be patronized so don’t. my upline is honest with me, so i know what he makes. it may only be a couple hundred more/month but if he can teach me to do that then I’m free.

slbigred78 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

as far as your family and friends go, i think the only family or friends that ibos “cut off” are the ones who give them hell for trying to build the business, and if these “friends” do that then what kind of friends are they anyway? and the business is advertised as something done in ones spare time, so is watching tv. so if u have 5 hours spare time a week, would u rather watch tv or get rich?

05Eagles1 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

yeah if my parents bought from me, i’d do 100 pv, but they would rather buy from a store, yeah, pretty dick i should say

terker10 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

haha, i can shit out 100pv. that is not hard to do in anyway. 3 customers gets me 300pv.
Those numbers are broad, one is an active IBO just by seeing a plan or attending a nuts and bolts w/in one’s group.

ashdaw835 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

You all need to speak with your mentors and not waste time with people who do not understand. Only assosiate with the people who have the facts and will help you enhance your business :)

05Eagles1 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

By not associating with your family and long time friends, and when they say they don’t watch t.v. or go out to have a good time so they can concentrate on building their business

actresscp | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

it’s a business. I don’t quite understand what you mean by cut off your friends and family, but I personally have mine’s support. I never ask them to buy what they don’t need or will cost them too much, but where there is money to be saved I of course offer them the better product. The reason I am building this business is because it’s given me the ability to help people, even as clients, with healthier cheaper product. Also I don’t understand your comment about being a cult. Can you elaborate?

delight1984 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

keep GOINGGGGG NICE

delight1984 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

NICE WELL SAID

05Eagles1 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

well maybe i guess im not doing it right, i know the products are effective i just don’t wanna be involved with LTD anymore though, i have never been told to cut off my friends and family, but I didn’t like the fact that others did that, that’s the one thing I don’t like about this business that it’s a cult.

actresscp | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

an understandable concern. The fact of the matter is we do have competitive prices and good quality products. Personally, I took all my parents’ cleaning products that were under their sink, calculated their exact cost (cost per oz., oz. per use, use per container, etc.) and did the same with our legacy of clean. If you are willing to punch out numbers you find our products are very competitive. It takes a little work, but when people see the facts they will buy from you :)

05Eagles1 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

well in a recession, you think people are gonna wanna buy these products, some people can make it work, but a lot of people i know don’t wanna buy anything cuz they think the products cost way too much, it’s hard to make it work when everyone you know turn their nose up at it

actresscp | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

k.. the facts at 3:25 have everything to do with the people and nothing to do with the business itself. Give me one reason why the business does not work. Not the people ‘in it’ but the business itself. My best friend makes $500/mth and he’s been an IBO for 4 months. I have seen it work. I have done the math. Don’t tell me why you don’t like it, tell me why it factually does not work. Why you will not get paid for your accomplishments. Amway has never missed a payment. So what is the problem?

actresscp | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

05Eagles1, if you ask how a function will help, I ask how college will help. People go in debt to pay for college to get the same degree the other guy has, and he was just laid off. I save up a hundred bucks every three months instead. I went to college for a while, and I learn way more from the functions than I ever did from a professor. There’s no riddle there.

05Eagles1 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

yes, but you still get paid at each of those positions

05Eagles1 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

but people turn their nose up at it, I am one of the more dedicated ones around……and what’s wrong with having a job, or going to college huh?

336522563 | October 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm

dedication…i was living in the same economical status as you were and now i’m a diamond
